We had a wonderful celebration of Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school, filled with fun, creativity, and a great sense of community. The children enjoyed a lively céilí where everyone had the chance to dance and take part, while our seanfhocail art competition showcased their artistic talents and understanding of Irish sayings. There was plenty of excitement during our classroom-based games and activities, and pupils made a fantastic effort to use the Frása an Lae throughout the weeks.
Our Comórtas Bandaí Gaeilge was a great success, encouraging children to speak Irish every day in a fun and supportive way. A highlight of the week was the collaborative whole-school art piece, which brought everyone together and is a lovely reminder of our shared effort to celebrate the Irish language and culture.
